Come and spend 4 nights in a beautiful natural setting in the coastal town of Molunat just steps away from the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic, and a short hop by boat to Dubrovnik and the incredible island of Lokrum

As well as enjoying the setting, the surroundings and all it has to over, I’ll also be giving you an experiential education of how to harness the healing powers of nature and bring about a state of harmony, balance and freedom and in body and mind.

A magical place, filled with pure, natural energy, with crystal clear waters, where good health can be restored and the simple pleasures of life can be enjoyed in peace and tranquility.
Molunat is a beautiful fishing village with a safe and protected bay; a hidden gem between Dubrovnik and Montenegro, in the heart of Konavle, on the southern end of the Dalmatian coast.
Being ecologically preserved, and blessed with its own mild micro-climate, it is the perfect place to relax and revive your soul. Loved by local and visitors alike, living in harmony with nature, once discovered, Molunat is somewhere you’ll never want to leave.
Villa Molunat is situated just steps away from a private rocky beach, which enjoys the most crystal clear water you could imagine.
A little oasis of serenity, the villa enjoys the best of both worlds, with a hidden terrace with a large pool at the back, and the beaches and access to the village at the front.
It is a perfect setting among the pine and olive trees, maintaining peace and tranquility, whilst offering modern and elegant individual apartments.
The villa provides accommodation in 9 luxurious apartments , all designed for maximum comfort and privacy.
Each villa has a double bed, which can also be made into twins, and in the large living space there is also a sofa bed which can take upto two additional people.
You will have a full equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a tub, a powder room, and a sea view balcony.
For yoga classes, we will have the choice of the terrace on the beach, around the pool, or one of the other stunning wild spots closeby.
Food and Drink
In Molunat there is an abundance of fresh local food to choose from.
As part of the retreat, you will have two meals a day, which will all breakfasts, and either a lunch or dinner, depending on the activities for the day.
A couple of nights a week we will enjoy a bar be cue at the villa, most likely with some fresh fish, and lots of fresh vegetables and herbs.
We have a young local woman, Mateja, who will be creating some lovely meals for us some evenings, but we will also have evenings where we will have a Community Kitchen, whereby if anyone wants to get involved in the cooking and learn something new.
A couple of nights a week, we will eat out, either at the fabulous local restaurant Lancana, or perhaps in Dubrovnik or Cavtat if you are out on a day trip.
For any extra food shopping you need, the local Tommy supermarket is well equipped and only ten minutes walk from the villa.
Next door to the supermarket there is also a local cafe bar, although this does not stock food, they don’t mind you taking in your own.
Around the other side of the bay, there is Restuarant Monika, which is next to the sandy bay of Molunat, a beautiful setting serving lunches and fresh fish dinners and more. They also have their own vineyard in the fields behind, and really fantastic wines.
Although it is not a vegetarian retreat, we can cater for all dietary requirements, however, we ask that you let us know in advance.
Yoga and Wellbeing
THE YOGA PROGRAMME
Mindful Movement in nature, based on The Five Elements….
Each day we will get up and move first. Maybe a little hot water and lemon to kickstart the system.
We will do a short wake-up session, to salute the sun, but also oxygenate the body using The Wim Hof method.
A light breakfast will provide a bit of fuel for the next session, which will be a short walk away by the beach so we can follow with a swim, and then a larger lunch.
The yoga is designed to bring the body back into its natural state. You will be learning as you go along, and following a process to help you “rewild”!
All the sessions are optional, some nights there will be a sunset session, or perhaps a session on the island and in other wild spaces, depending on the conditions and what you as a group would like to do.
This is Wild Yoga, Gillie-style, which means it’s accessible to everyone, appreciating the diversity in bodies, and it’s all about feeling good. It is non-competitive, with the focus on healing and energising, but that doesn’t mean to say you won’t build strength and get some results. As well as traditional yoga, it incorporates primal movement, mindfulness, somatics, martial arts, and even some dance!
I invite you to go with the flow, and embrace a new way of moving, that feels soooooo good!
To support the movement you will learn techniques from mindfulness, meditation, pranayama, and ways of eating and living according to the laws of nature. This is an education as well as an experience.
Walking / Hiking
There are some lovely walking routes from right outside our doorstep, which will take you through the olive groves and cypress trees, as well as around the coastline.
As part of your retreat, I will take you on a walk on the first day to get your bearing and help you ground. From there, there are different places and routes to explore, but if you would like something further afield, we can arrange a trip into Gruda where you can take a walk to explore the beautiful Konavle countryside and the River Djuta valley.
For keen hikers, I can arrange for a local guide to take you up one of the mountains.
