Day 8: Release Your Fears To Love

During these times, it would be understandable for you to be experiencing some fear-based emotions.

On our mat, we can practice releasing the fear from our body, which also frees our mind.

The antidote to fear is love, so when we place our focus and intention on love, we can start to reset our system so that off-the-mat, we are less fearful.

In this sequence I invite you to be led by how your body loves to move, to move freely, without fear of what it looks like, whether it’s exactly what I am doing, but instead, follow your bliss.

Seek the sensation that makes you go “ahhhhhhhhh”.

As we move through the poses that link together with breath, we can tune into what feels good, and we mobilise any stuck emotions from the fascial network, and when we hold poses such as pigeon towards the end, we can really let go of this stuff.

To help you through this time you may want to find a creative project which helps you deal with your fear and anxiety in a constructive way.

This could be painting, singing, crafting, gardening, journalling, dancing, cooking, or any other activity which calms you.

Be guided by that part of you that seeks out harmony and balance, and create free from what others may think or whether it’s good or not.

Enjoy and embrace the process, and allow your subconscious mind to do the work for you.
