News from Flow Yoga for this month
This Friday I head off to run Le Wild Retreat in France. I am having a few days afterwards to recharge my batteries before coming back to classes.
Tomorrow night (Thursday 2nd June) will be my last class before I go away, everyone is welcome at 6.30 – 7.45pm at Highfield Farm, but if you have your own mat please do bring it just in case. I hope to do it outside if Mother Nature decides to bless us 🙂
From June 6th – 12th there will be no classes as I have limited internet access where I am and it is hard to manage. The other dates I am still away please give your name to the cover teacher and pay them direct (or let them know if you have prepaid by BACS/ cheque).
Friday 3rd June Stephen Froom (trained in India, also qualified in aerial yoga, will be running the 9.30am class at Newcourt Community Centre.
Monday 13th June (Newcourt) and Wednesday 15th June (The Church) will be Chrissie Tarbitt who teaches at Ocean Physio. NB She is coming with me to teach on the retreat so no classes there next week either.
Monday 13th June 6.30 – 7.45pm at Highfield Farm will be Anne Harrison who will be teaching a Flow-style class especially for you, and it will be outside if the weather is nice!
Normal timetable resumes on Thursday 16th June 2016.
2. SUPER SATURDAY
Saturday 18th June is going to be a whole day of Yoga and Fun for anyone to come along.
- Kicking off with a YOGA FOR HEALING THE SPINE workshop 9am – 10.30am. Details here.
I will then be leading a YOGA MALA for MacMillan which is 108 Sun Salutations. This is easier than you think but a real achievement. It will start at midday in one of the fields at Highfield Farm, and we will do 11 rounds of 12 salutes to the sun, but which time you will be buzzing and will have raised money for a good cause. Suggested donation £10.
From 2pm there is a LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL on Topsham Quay. Join us for a bit of fizz and a boogie in front of the estuary, where last year we enjoyed the most stunning sunsets!
I have spaces still on my YOGA AND SUP retreat in The Algarve in October 2016. A £250 deposit secures your place. Come on your own (as most people are) or bring a friend or partner. I can arrange discounts for non-yogis or non-watersports fans. Full details are here. Email me to book.
I am running two Introduction to Aerial Yoga workshops in July (9th and 23rd) at a lovey studio I have found in Newton Abbott, part of the Music Mill (near the big ASDA). This will give you everything you need to get started in classes (which I will be launching soon) or get set up at home. Places are limited to 6 people and we have already filled quite a few places so make your booking online at the Studio Q website here. (choose Special Events as option)
Looking forward to seeing you soon and in the meantime, get on your mat when you ca, but most importantly, don’t forget to smile and breathe!
