Sometimes the winds of change blow, and the only choice we have to either adapt or adjust.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been doing just that, and I am really happy to announce that I have found some lovely new venues for yoga this summer, most of which will mean we can get outside and breathe in some of the lovely, fresh prana whilst doing our practise.
The advantage of all is that I have more space. I will have mats and blocks, but feel free to bring your own. In time, I will have bolsters and blankets, but step by step..
No need to book, just drop in. ALL LEVELS WELCOME, INCLUDING BEGINNERS AND NEWCOMERS.
So, here is a little reminder of where I will be and when.
Highfield Farm
* Like a place of sanctuary right on the edge of Topsham on the Clyst Road. See http://www.highfieldfarm.org.
There is plenty of parking – it is also a campsite and an organic farm – and we have the advantage of beautiful views from the farm and even going outside.
Classes Starting Thursday 2nd July 2015 at Highfield Farm:
Mondays 6.15 – 7.15pm Mindful Yoga (this is a brand new class and ideal for beginners, or those looking to lose weight or de-stress).
Mondays 7.30 – 8.30pm Mind Over Matter (weight loss support and educational group)
Tuesdays 6.30 – 7.30pm Flow Yoga (a more energising class, based on Vinyasa Flow style)
Thursdays 6.30 – 7.30pm Flow Yoga (a mixed level Vinyasa flow class, fluid but relaxing too, all welcome)
I am also using Highfield Farm as a venue for workshops and events.
St Margarets Church
I have been both surprised and delighted at the warm welcome from our local church, and it feels just perfect to be supporting this community local venue.
The inside room at the back of the church is warm, clean, light, and especially atmospheric. It has lovely acoustics, and your view will be of the large stained glass window at the back facing the estuary.
We will be able to make use of the outside area in nice weather, and we will have a private area with view of the estuary to salute the sun!
Pebblebed Vineyard
Matthews Hall, Topsham
Right in the centre of Topsham, next to the fire station, the rooms upstairs is spacious and warm. There is limited parking next to the building, but you can also park on Holman Way and walk through. Ideal for those who live in Topsham and are without parking.
